What Holiday Means For Me

In times like holiday season come, we always celebrate it grandiosely. Cooking foods like there was a food feast, a food competition like who got the tastiest yummy food, exchanging gifts and noisy surroundings, but well holiday for me is different. In holiday season I want to be in my bed and lie down but my parents want us to go in different places but I don’t mind it if there will be a comfy bed. In the morning, we cook foods for the Christmas eve then help them if they needed me and late night we go the “Simbang Gabi”.

As the sun goes down and the stars came out and my universe would never be desame I’m glad food came by Wanted except for the last part haha….peace. in the times that the skies turn dark I go outside only to gaze the dark sky or sometimes sing a song and sit around the places with snack in my side of course to keep me accompany because I believe “a holiday without food is incomplete.” Then sometimes my brother and my sister we sing a holiday song and play it according to our favorite instrument of course and that is our usually gimmicks and after a while our parents then join then they will sing in the videoke but except me I don’t like it and don’t ask why.

Well I know that my holiday is kind of boring but it is just my way of writing it here. But holiday is always unexpected and exiting and a perfect family bonding. This is something to treasure because in Christmas we remember and celebrate Jesus birth and that is the happiest moment for a Christian like me. And for me this holiday is means of love and share, forgiving and thanking God for the blessings we have.
